Jon Burgerman is an award-winning purveyor of Doodles.  He is often credited as the leading figure in the popular ‘Doodle’ Art Style.

From canvases and ambitious public murals to 3D sculptures and social animations, his instantly recognizable aesthetic often combines his signature elements of exaggerated expressions, vivid color, gestural mark making and cartoony googly eyes.

Burgerman has also become a prolific author, having several picture books published alongside a collection of creativity books, including It’s Great To Create published by Chronicle Books.

In 2019 Burgerman opened his first museum show in Asia, entitled ‘Fun Factory’, a huge immersive, interactive exhibition at M Contemporary Museum, Seoul, South Korea.

His artworks are held in the collections of several institutions including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London and Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery.

When he’s not doodling he likes noodles, poodles, and apple strudels.

Jon has also collaborated with international companies and brands that include Instagram, Snapchat, Nike, Puma, Samsung, Apple, Pepsi Co., Sesame Street and Disney.

Jon asked me to make photo's for his new book It's Great To Create (Link: http://a.co/g8CzDnv). A few cool pic's didn't make it to the final print. So I thought I'd make a film with the leftovers. Great thanks to Jon's mom for sending old photos and video's, all the way from Birmingham to Brooklyn. Hope you enjoy.
